THE OAK LEAVES WITH SWORDS AND DIAMONDS SET
The Oak Leaves with Swords and Diamonds award was made exclusively by the prestigious jewelry firm of Otto Klein of Hanau. Our set of molds was taken directly off of an unassembled award ensuring that the Oak Leaves with Swords and Diamonds that we produce is an exact reproduction of the original award. To the best of my knowledge these are the only molds of this award by Otto Klein in existence.
Each part or plate is held precisely in place by 3 alignment pins. The molds have stone setting cavities with claw mounts for 58 diamonds with each stone being securely claw-mounted. If real diamonds were used the stones would have a cumulative weight of about 2.7 carats.
EUROPEAN CRAFTSMANSHIP: Our diamond awards are made in Europe by a skilled jeweler who has over 40 years experience in the repair and restoration of Third Reich awards and badges. Each of the 58 stones is handset using a diamond setter’s microscope to ensure proper mounting and seating.
NOTE: In place of diamonds we use Swarovski zirconia. Swarovski zirconia is a created stone and is the most perfect simulated diamond in the world.
